Transform, Disrupt, Accelerate: The New Roadmap for Technology Leadership

The CIO’s job is not for the shrinking violet these days. Threats emerge quickly, as do opportunities if you’re nimble enough to capitalize fast enough. Because technology has become a part of everything, the CIOs who succeed today can write their ticket to even more powerful and bigger roles. That is the CIO we aim to support with the Forbes CIO Summit: ambitious, open-minded, creative and strategic. The community, content and programming around the CIO Summit is designed to advance your career by taking you inside the minds of today’s best practitioners and tapping the wisdom of business leaders outside of your sphere.

Forbes CIO Innovation Award

Only recently have CIOs become leaders in “information.” Too many were focused on infrastructure
rather than synthesizing valuable data. Now that information is king, an elite cadre of CIOs
are using the company's most prized asset (and technology in general) to drive real revenue growth.

This award is open to chief information officers of any multi-billion dollar enterprise who have demonstrated the ability
to generate real revenue growth. The deadline to apply has closed. Winners will selected by early March.

The winners will be featured on stage at the Forbes CIO Summit on March 7 at the Ritz Carlton at Half Moon Bay, CA,
and in Peter High’s Technovation column on Forbes.com.
